Puerto
Pollensa... the jewel in the crown of the island of Mallorca.
Located on the northern tip of Mallorca
amidst beautiful scenery, Puerto Pollensa enjoys
a sheltered position in the magnificent bay from which it takes
its name. Puerto Pollensa has a delightful setting
and friendly atmosphere which has helped to make it a firm favourite
holiday destination. Puerto Pollensa is not only
an ideal place to relax and unwind but a place where you can enjoy
outdoor the pursuits of walking, cycling, all kinds of nautical
sports and explore the natural habitats of the local birdlife.
Pollensa Pines are pleased to offer quality apartments
and villas for holiday rentals many on the much sought after Pine
Walk in Puerto Pollensa.
Puerto Pollensa lies on the beautiful
bay of Pollensa in the very north eastern corner of Mallorca about
53km from Palma. It is protected in the north by the stunning Formentor
peninsula and in the south by a similar rocky formation leading
to Cap des Pinar. With its sandy beach, beautiful scenery and fine
tourist infrastructure it has long been a popular destination especially
amongst British holidaymakers.
The resort of Puerto Pollensa is only
8km from neighbouring Alcudia to the south. It is a compact resort
with mainly low rise buildings and a good selection of bars and
restaurants to suit the majority of visitors.
Arriving from Alcudia you'll have the
fine beach to your right as you approach the main resort. This particular
part of the island is very popular with cyclists who base themselves
here during the winter and spring months to make the most of the
mild weather and stunning scenery.
Once you arrive at the marina which
is located at the centre of the resort the frontline becomes pedestrianised.
All along here you will find a good selection of nice cafés
and restaurants.
Heading to the most northerly section of the resort
there's a lovely walk along the famous Pine Walk past some delightful
old residential homes until you arrive at the exclusive Hotel Illa
d'Or where you can stop for lunch and enjoy the view overlooking
the whole bay.

Capuccino's,
the
Palma based chain has opened a franchise at the Sis
Pins Hotel on the Pine Walk. The
view on a sunny day across the sea and the boats to the mountains
is superb. We recommend you try a bocadillo with salmon
or chicken - this alongside a Capuccino is simply heaven.
